This book has so many issues that the characters have to solve, internal and external.
It kept me interested by adding more tension into the setting. I would always want to know what would happen to him/her. Stella Lake asks her friend Lacey Smithsonian to attend a viewing, she goes. The dead woman is a young hairdresser named Angie who has a bald do and cut wrists. The police think she committed suicide especially with the note written in blood on a mirror saying "So Long". Stella knows that Angie was murdered and she wants her reporter friend Lacey to prove it. Lacey is a fashion columnist not an investigative reporter, so she doesn't agrees to investigate. But as she listens to other people's comments and after another stylist dies she begins to find a connection with both deaths. She starts to get more information but ends up being stalked by a killer who wants to make her his next victim.
This book keeps the reader guessing and interested. There are many possibilities of suspects who could be the guilty party. But while the reader is trying to figure it out Lacey is trying to decide whether this security guard from her past is interested in her or her murder theory.
