I think it is silver plated. It's also too light to be silver I think. Unfortunately my instrument slightly scratched the face of the stone. It's not terrible but if you look for it, you can see it. I'd like return it for a partial refund. I'll give you 2222 credits. I think this ring is just costume jewelry. Some stuff from Mexico is marked 925 but is not. What's your thoughts on this? The ring I sent him was real sterling silver and it was the stone in it that I wasn't sure was real or not and i even added that to my description!!!!! This guy is not a professional jeweler he is just a scam so please watch what you sell to him! He even admitted in the email that he put a scratch on the stone with his probe. This ring had no scratches on it what so ever when I sent it to him. And then he expects me to give him partial credit back. At this point my thoughts are what am I going to do with a sterling silver marked 925 damaged ring????? This guy is insane, and on top of this he is disputing me for his credits back.... We will see what happens I guess. Would you Listians accept a damaged item back that was damaged by this user???? Yeah I didn't think so!!!!"
