BN in package.Bought one for me, one for hub. He does'nt want it. Havent tried mine yet,but, the way this item was explained to me is : If your phone is ringing and you cant find it, the lights on it twinkle (illuminate) so you can locate it easily". It also has a button to push that acts as a flashlight! Sticks right to back of cell phone. It is clear, so matching it to your phone is no problem. Also worth noting is the small size:1 1/2"long (female estimate lol) and very thin. Has batteries in it AND comes with 2 FREE replacements! FREE SHIPPING FRIENDS!!

Im glad you weren't being snotty ; -] It's hard to understand/'hear' tone by keyboard strikes! I don't know about all phones, but I know with many flip ones, you can't see the light. Plus it acts as a flashlight. IDK- I like 'gadgets'!

Does it work if your phone is on vibrate only? If so, that would be cool when you're in a no sound (ring) zone!

The way it was explained to me was to put it on the back(battery side), and when the phone rings, it lights up. So, I would hafta say it would work on virtate, or ring.

You know, I have'nt. I do have one though, somewhere! My son (6)actually tried opening it one day when I wasn't ready to mess with it, and I haven't seen it since. Need to check his playroom. See if Spiderman has it on his back!lol
