Pete Richert was a well respected pitcher who pitched for 13 seasons in the majors, Richert came up in 1962 with the Dodgers, and would play in Dodger Blue twice in his career. A #5 hole spot-starter in LA, the Dodgers traded him, along with legend Frank Howard, to the Washington Senators in 1965 where he assumed a higher spot in the rotation and responded with 2 straight All Star appearances in 1965 and 1966. He won a World Series with the Orioles in 1970 before being traded with Frank Robinson back to the Dodgers in 1972. Over his career, he made 122 starts in 429 appearances, compiling a 80-73 mark with 51 saves and a 3.19 ERA.
