Description
The listing, Tintype of baby - in paper frame - gem size has ended.
The last of my real tintypes from the 1800s (probably 1860-1880). This one is an absolutely adorable little boy. The name "Geo Fisk" is written underneath his photo. The paper backing appears to be from a city directory and the words "Springfield" and "Columbus" are discernable, giving me to believe it is from Ohio. The photo measures about 1-1/4" x 1-1/2"; the frame measures about 1-3/4" x 2-3/4". These were known as "gem photos" and were popular for family albums.
Smoke and pet-free home. Free shipping (but I can mail ONLY to US addresses)
