The 1989 Fleer Update set includes 132 cards including 131 players and one checklist. The set also includes 22 LOGO STICKERS.

The cards resemble the 1989 Fleer regular set in look except that they have a “U” in front of the card number. Again the cards were ordered alphabetically by name within team.

The set features a card for Nolan Ryan’s 5000 strike out and another for Mike Schmidt’s retirement.
