The listing, WOW! Hard to find Back of the Book Revenue Stamps has ended.

Wow, eight old revenue stamps including 1, 2, 3 and 10 Battleship Maine class stamps. plus 1 cent Franklin stamp wwith red overprint of I. R. (Internal Revenue) and 2 cent Washington stamp with black overprint I. R. plus two different 1 cent documentary stamps from late 1800 and early 1900's. Please enlarge picture to see stamps the winner will win in this unique auction of hard to find stamps. As always with my stamp auctions, the winner will also receive a free bonus collection of stamps.

Questions & Comments

Cancellations on battleships stamps including apr 1, 1899 Alexandria Nebr. on 1 cent battleship; an unknown name and Dec. 8, 1899 on 2 cent battleship; cancelled Nov 18, 1900 G.O.S. on 3 cent battleship; and unknown writing and no visible date on 10 cent battleship. One 1 cent documentary stamp is cancelled with PLW and date of Apr 27 19-- : and other other one cent has what appears to be 10/17; the cancelation on the green Franklin stamp cannot be figured out and the 2 cent Washington one has some initials and unknown date.

The 1 cent documentary stamp in scan appears to have corner bent back, this was do to plastic envelope stamp in during scan and is not bent. Stamps illustrated are stamps winner will receive.
