This is the best PlayStation 3 controller right now, precisely because it's not shaped like a PS3 controller.

Power A spent a good deal of time taking what's best about the Xbox 360 controller—the most natural "traditional" controller—and bringing it to the PS3. It's called the PS3 Pro Elite, a $50.value You have your left analog stick up on the top left and D-Pad down on the bottom. The palm parts extend much lower, and are coated with a grippy, but breathable material, which makes a huge difference when you play games for hours on end.

Oh, and you still get Sixaxis capabilities, so there really is no sacrifice. Plus you get glowing buttons, and true wireless, albeit a third-party wireless that you need a dongle for. The dongle is included.

I apologize. this is a ps3 controller made by Power A in the style of the xbox 360 controller,( for people who desire an xbox360 style controller to use with the ps3) please check the link I included by gizmodo.com they tell the features. plus I also stated it is a ps3 controller and not for xbox360. look at the pics and you will see the buttons for playstation.
