Description

The listing, 1901 Letter, 13 Star Flag Cancel, Pan Am Expo has ended.

Letter has a LOT of history to it.
The person who wrote the letter, her husband' grave I found online!

She writes her sister. speaks of being ungrateful, mentions rain, hopes the CARRIAGE doesn't get wet (misspelling of "carriage" in letter?).

Writes of the Pan American. I am guessing she means the Pan American Exposition as you can see the date on the envelope is July 1901, the Expo was held May to November of that year!

I also cannot guarantee but I found Herbert Horr Blakely's grave, and the letter mentions Blakely, Walter, Mariam (could be Marion?) and signed by A. Horr. If you go to this website, you'll see those names mentioned. Could this letter possibly be those people listed on the website?

You can also view close ups of the letter as I took photos of where the lady named people, Pan American, carriage for verification.

You'll also notice that Pawlett is mentioned on the website and written as the address.
Same with Ruthford.

A. Horr, signed it but as you can see from below, the mother's name was S. Angelette Horr, so maybe she used the A. Horr, instead of her "S" name?
Here is what I found online but if you go to the link, you can read for yourself and see a photo of the grave.
