That may have been clearer if an external hard drive were pictured. Regardless that makes it an older than 2007 model pro not an elite so you probably shouldn't have been so rude to the earlier commenter who said it wasn't an elite..

Elites don't come in white and always have 120 GB Hard Drives. This is most likely a Pro with a 60 GB hard drive considering Microsoft never mad a 360 hard drive in the 40 GB size. The only HDD sizes that Microsoft released for the Xbox 360 are the 256mb(or 512mb, i don't remember) Arcade Version,which later dropped down to no internal memory. the 20gb Pro which transformed into the 60gb pro in 2007. and the 120gb Elite. the 250gb special edition MW2 edition Xbox 360 Fat. and the 4gb Slim and the 250gb slim and there are some 320gb special editions and there is currently a 320gb HDD for retail separately, but no 320gb "standard" systems.

this is a 20gb with an external hardrive added to it thats also 20gb thats how you get 40 gb genious no one here is an xbox expert i cant edit the listing so move on its still a very nice console xbox 360 whatever it still an xbox 360 40gb and its worh 140.00
