The listing, 1816 Austrian 1 Kreuzer Unique has ended.
This coin from the old Austrian Empire was minted only in 1816. There are other Austrian coins and other denominations that look similar, but they do not carry the 1816 date. This coin has a mint mark of A, which can be found at the bottom under the wreath, which itself is below the date. Mint marks A and B are the most common for this date. Slightly more rare are E, G, O, and S.
The first picture is actually the reverse side of the coin where the date and mint mark is located. The obverse, shown in picture 2, has the lettering SCHEIDEMUNZE K.K OESTERREICHISCHE going around the rim, with a double headed eagle inside a square flag with a crown on top.
The coin is copper, has a weight of 8.1 grams, and a diameter of 26.6 millimeters, or slightly more than 1 inch. An unusual feature of the coin is the "pocked" edge, which is shown in picture 3.
