I purchased 2 of the items, but never registered any number or address. As stated it is at least 2 years old.

One end plugs into the computer, and the other end into the phone.

Just making sure a few of these have been used/registered and they are worthless because the new user has the registered name on the device for life and it can't be removed/changed at all. a Unopened/unused magic jack is great because you get 1 yr of service and get to register it with your name, email and password.

When I got these they came 2 in the package. Gave one to a friend, and still have the other. It has not been out of the package since, and for sure I have never registered it. Be advised I have not tested this unit, but the other one worked fine.

Kool. Never knew you could get 2 in a package. Only knew of purchasing one when they came out. I know a lot about these uses DSL or Cable internet 1MB Download or better is recommended in my opinion. Plus you can use it also on WiFi Hot Spots - McD's and other restaurants that offer it but remember to use a corded phone for that LOL. Then there is the MJ+ which you can use at home to plug into your router direct or into a computer.
