The listing, LABRADORITE Mystical Gem Pendant has ended.

Beautiful, real labradorite gem set in (supposedly) sterling silver. It's marked 925 on the bale but I think it's silver plate. I bought some pendants from Thailand and I don't believe that they're sterling. Just silver plate - even with the 925 mark on it. I own a lot of jewelry & this one's a little suspect in my book. The gem however is real. One of the more mystical jewels that you'll ever own. Measures just over 1.5" in length (counting the bale). Never been worn. I can understand your distrust of the 925 stamp... I bought some stamped 'sterling silver' chains from China, got them professionally tested and they turned out to be double plated with sterling silver. Great quality plating, but plating. I don't mind what metal I wear, but I was buying for a friend who is allergic to base metals, so that WAS a problem. Thank you for voicing your concerns and being so honest with your bidders!
I agree that the Labradorite is the real deal, there's no faking that 'butterfly wing' sheen! :)

Your very welcome. Thank you for your kind comments. I don't want anyone to be disappointed. I don't mind plating either but I would like to know. I think customers have a right to be informed. Like you said; some people have allergies. There's nothing more disappointing then to buy one thing and to receive another. Or worse yet, a fake metal. Yes, the gem is ta rue Labradorite. Not the highest quality stone I've ever seen but still very pretty. Thank you for taking the time to write me. I appreciate it! :))
