The listing, 3rd generation KINDLE w/ 3G and WiFi (BROKEN) has ended.

Please note, this device is BROKEN! :(

This Kindle used to work perfectly until it took a spill. It was dropped at the gym from the rack of an elliptical machine.

The actual screen is not broken at all, but it looks like the e-ink display beneath the screen is cracked. The display is stuck 37% of the way into one of the books from the Percy Jackson & the Olympians.

Hard reset does not work. No guarantees that this device is repairable, but could be a fun challenge if you think you can fix it!

Does NOT include cables nor box. Just the device.

Have u contacted amazon about this? I had the same thing 2 months after getting mine and they replaced it, so they may do the same with you if you bought it somewhat recently

Thanks for the advice! This kindle is out of warranty. Although I've heard Amazon might still offer a big discount on a refurbished replacement if someone wants to call them and send it back!
