Connect the Xtreme N Gigabit Router to a cable or DSL modem and provide high-speed Internet access to multiple computers, game consoles, and media players. Create a secure wireless network to share photos, files, music, videos, printers, and network storage. Powered by Xtreme N technology and equipped with three external antennas, this router provides superior wireless coverage for users running bandwidth-intensive applications. The DIR-655 also includes a 4-port 10/100/1000 Gigabit switch. With D-Link's Intelligent QoS Technology, wired and wireless traffic are analyzed and separated into multiple data streams. all i do is plug in the ethernet cord and power cord and use it with ease no cd no other cors involved

Dual band? Don’t know / When I bought this I told the salesman that I was taking live online classes and my wife is always on playing games and I need a router that can keep up. I tested it by running Netflix on her DT, and her LT and our TV thru the Wii. At the same time I had live lecture on my DT and playing World Of Warcraft on my LT. It never hesitated, paused once. / I used it for 6months then it got packed for the move to Phoenix 2 years ago. I got tired of going through boxes and bought another DIR-655
