HERE WE GO LADIES AND GENTLEMAN, HERE AH-WE GO!

What I got for you today is for all you Apple fans & repair geeks ;)

Up for auction is a 32GB WHITE IPOD TOUCH 4TH GENERATION NON WORKING OR FOR PARTS!!

It was my little sister's iPod, it's been in well cared for, and but a few weeks ago the home button stopped working, but my sister used an on screen version of the home button in the settings app, and just recently the screen just stopped operating completely.

I tried to open it up to see if I could fix it, but I found out that one of ribbon cables for the Screen has a series of tears all over it. So I assume that all you need to do is replace the screen assembly completely & the homebutton assembly. I would do it myself, but I am only skilled at repairing iphones & iPads, & older iPod models.

Other than that this iPod should run like new when screen is fixed. The back has many scratches on it, but it didn't effect the functionality when it was working before.

IPOD USB CABLE & WALL CHARGER NOT INCLUDED.

I will include an aftermarket charger & cable if bidding reaches 25,000.
If bidding reaches 30,000 I will include a charging dock.

Other than that, I think I have told you everything about this ipod.

No thank you, I don't really have use for it since I own every other iDevice. I already have this ipod touch in black, this was my little sisters, but I got her an iphone.

Haha I love apple I have 2 iPads , every gen iPhone, I actually have about 15 iPhone 2gs (I collect them) and as in my profile pick various retro macs! iPod 4s are generally east to fix though

Wow! That's a lot lol, I got every generation iPad, just recently got the Golden iPad Mini from Apple for running the best Apple Store in the East Coast. Have a drawer full of iPhones from first to 4S and just recently added 2 iphone 5's to the collection. Only have a 4th and 5th Gen ipod touch. And then like a million iPods ranging from classics to nanos I got from work, presents, etc. I wish I had a mac, but i know way more about windows than I do Mac Os lol. But I have probably over 500 cases for every device lol they take up about 7 shoe boxes lol

Correct, the ribbon cable to the screen has some tears in it and the home button stopped working before the screen went out, but everything else was functional.

Lol people love my Toshiba because it's all chrome blue and has my logo that you see in my profile pic on the back that lights up blue and purple lol. It has it's pros & cons, but an amazing experience to work there. Your coworkers are like big family of nerds, always having fun. It's not hard just a very tedious job, just recently finished Inventory, it took me from the beginning of 2013 to last week of march to finish everything haha. Yeah we get in a lot of trade ins, We have to wipe them clean, and we ship them to Apple HQ and I really have no clue what happens to them after they arrive at Apple lol.
LOL the boxes? I have every other device except my iPads and iPhone 5 & ipod touch 5 in boxes lol I plan to make a little display case for all my devices haha

Haha that must be funny seeing you there with your toshiba :P it's on my bucket list to take my apple 2 to the apple store one day. Do you have the original boxes for the 2gs? Even better do you have a sealed one? I would love to own an apple store it must be a fun job! I have a question, what happens to all the old computers that you get with trade-ins and such?

Yeah, I recently got promoted after my old boss retired, so I took over and made a lot of changes lol. And hey an employee discount can only do so much lol, You'll see me at the genius bar with my Toshiba laptop lol. Sorry I can't part with my iphones lol :) I love them too much haha
