It is hospital grade allergy-free nickel free. I bought it new in package as shown used whjen i was pregnant in my belly button and other piercings as well. THIS IS NIP.

What gauge piercing is it for?

it doesn't have a gauge it is no thicker then a reg tongue bar... i have used this in my belly button, lip (which is a 16) ect. which is no bigger then a 12 or 14 gauge if that helps
