always been curious......how do these "activate" or is it like a big bandaid with a pain relieving ointment on it? Also, do they stay put during lots of activity/movement and are they easy to remove or do ya lose a layer of skin and hairs?

They stick on good ...but i would put mine on a lay down , thats all i could do because of the pain ...and no they wont take any hair off ..lol easy on easy off ...i like em ..

My mom loves these too, she has a bulging disk and nerve problems and she likes them! like Mspam said easy on easy off, you take it off the plastic put it on your back and wait for it to work! I am going to be watching and bidding hope I can get these for my mama :) She always helps me out so time to help her out!
