If i were you i would find something better to ship in, because if one of the pins on the CPU breaks in shipping then you no longer have a working CPU, and you should send a tube of Thermal Compound with the CPU, because you have to put thermal compound on the CPU before you put the heat sink on.

That's the spec's on the CPU.

The Xeon CPU's are mainly slated for server usage. I have several servers here that have these CPU's in them. Very durable CPU's.

You should NEVER ship a CPU in plain bubble envelope. CPU should be placed into a CPU container, inside anti-static back, then boxed and shipped. The pins are delicate, and easily bent, and static discharges can damage them internally.

oh.. lol ya.. still shouldn't ship them in bubble envelope alone tho.. but yes, that is an LGA chip.. just remind people it will only fit in an LGA771 socket

I think a a bubble envelope is the best way because of cost to ship these because these has no pins to be bent and i have never had a cpu go bad because of static.
