OMG LOL STOP! Now I definitely remember the duck the crystal heart, and some others:) I bet they did have a lot of meaning to you:) And you are right, can't keep them forever. Well, if you did they would probably sit unworn? Really so sweet of you to pass them on through Listia. I had some childhood pieces that either were misplaced/lost throughout the years & so many moves, I wish I had taken better care or been more careful with mine:( I have always loved vintage & more whimsical unique pieces. I think it is awesome to see them go to a new owner, after so many years of having them, then just maybe they are passed on to another child or adult. You are so right, about "parting with items" the ones I thought I never could or would... When they just sit for years in a box or drawer, no one is getting any pleasure from them. I know you have been on Listia a very long time, as I have & it's funny my "fanned sellers" list is too long to go through, but certain users, such as yourself, I can remember by name. So, occasionally I put in your username! Glad I did & I am always very happily surprised when I see you have listings:) Thanks:)

That's so sweet. Thank you. (you too!~)
And i totally agree about making new pleasures from old treasures. It was actually quite wonderful for me to dig those pieces out and photograph them. That was my farewell salute to them. I think they mean more now that they have been given a new home. ;)

I have always loved your items! I am still upset, LOL really over one or 2 of your necklaces with pendants I lost a while back! One was a vintage necklace with a Crystal, the other I cannot think of! But whenever I come across your username & auctions, I think of those necklaces, still!!!!

Maybe you do. ;)
They all had history with me, and reminded me of my childhood and grandparents. One was a jade elephant, one was a jade pharmaceutical mortar and pestle, I also listed a gold linitial "s" block, a green mallard duck ,a crystal heart, a gold butterfly, a lovebirds necklace and an altered locket... Maybe others too? I can't remember without looking. They were all loved. ;) I have some more to list soon which are equally loved, and steeped in family history, but I just can't keep them all forever...
