A pulse oximeter is a medical device that indirectly measures the oxygen saturation of a patients blood (as opposed to measuring oxygen saturation directly through a blood sample) ..
Portable battery-operated pulse oximeters are also available for home blood oxygen monitoring. You just slip over the finger(has spring) and it registers the oxygen level.
If anyone of you have a loved one on oxygen you know exactly what I mean.
This is a great device for cargivers..if you have some one who is on oxygen and at home..this is easily used to check the oxygen saturation...

It is battery operated...comes in a small carrying case..has strap so you can put around your neck.
