Up for auction is a NONWORKING PS3 console only. no cords no controlers or games. This unit powers on and stays on no YLOD but there is no picture showing on the tv using the component connection or the HDMI connection It does have the 40g hard drive in it. This was given to me by a friend along with some xbox360s and another ps3 all nonworking so look for the other auctions as well. I will split shipping with the winner which i figure a flat rate of 20 so your half will be 10. If you win more than one of my auctions I will cover the shipping. THIS IS AN AS IS AUCTION FOR A NONWORKING PS3 CONSOLE ONLY!!!! Good luck and thanks for looking.

I fixed one with same problem and all I did was turn it on and held down the standby button for 10 or so seconds to master reboot

From what I have read on the internet there are 3 main reasons a YLOD happens 1 is overheating due to dirt and stuff inside the system and the other is a bad connected action to the hard drive. Just Google "how to fix YOLD for ps3 there are all kinds of fixes for it. I just don't feel like messing with it and I love my Xbox 360!!!!
