What exactly is it?

Really, Blossom? I was of the opinion that it does pretty much explains that in the main text of the ad. But YMMV. So here is more:

It is a form of eggplant with small fruits that look like eggs . . . in the 2nd or 3rd spring the blooms have cleared in late winter and have fruits which are about half-sized by Easter Sunday. Hence the alias of "Easter Eggplant" or "Easter Egg Plant" . . . Some folks call it "Wonder Egg" due to its ability to capture the wonder of just about every person, esp. children, who passes by one of these plants displaying its "eggs".

Good luck with your bidding. These are always a popular offering - - I post 1 (sometimes 2) auctions for the Wonder Egg, aka Ornamental Eggplant, each weak unless I am under attack from CRS. It happens.

they are usually grown as an annual . . . i do not think you get enough sun indoors for this one . . . but heck, with multiple germinations you could always give it a go with one or two of the seedlings. let me know how it turns out!
