I followed instructions on a youtube video to make this filter, but I added very specific details like a list of tools, where to get exactly the right materials, etc,...I also added very clear illustrations for each step.
Unlike the youtube tutorials, my instructions will leave you with no confusion or head-scratchers. Plus, you can always reach me thru Listia for tech support if you need it.
This filter will handle up to 75 gallons, give or take, depending on how many fish you have.
All it takes is a 10G aquarium, a small pond pump and about a $40 trip to Home Depot.
It is far superior to the old Magnum canister filters, much easier to clean, and completely customizable, for whatever filter media best suits your needs.
Last but not least, your heater can go in the filter, completely out of sight.
Ya gotta love that.
