This is a BRAND NEW IN BOX Stamps.com Digital Scale. It is USB powered and weighs up to 5 pounds. I have had this scale read over 8 lbs correctly. It is model number 510. I ordered a scale from stamps.com and they accidentally sent me two. When I called them they told me to keep it. The first picture is of my scale - not the one you will receive. Yours will be brand new, unopened - see pic #2.

There is a misconception that this scale cannot be used without the stamps.com software. IT CAN! I have personally downloaded, installed and used the program that allows you to do so. You DO NOT even need stamps.com's software to read it.... this driver does it for you. You may go here to download the driver(FREE):

How is this scale rated.....up to 5 10 15 20 25lbs. Also, we really don't know if the one that is in the sealed box is a working scale..do we? When you received your scale did it include a warranty card? Thank You!!

It's 5 lbs. I just opened it and tested it.. it's fine. It says it has a 1 year limited warranty.

I will ship it in the box it was shipped to me in, PLUS I will put it in a padded mailer. NOTE: It is cushioned inside the box with thick styrofoam... It will be just fine.

I use to use Stamps.com and I have one of these scales as well. If you download their software you CAN still use this scale. When you open the software it will pop up a box for you to sign in, but you just need to click on work offline. Then go to packages, have your scale on and it will show you the weight. Very simple. Good luck with your auction!
