Up for bids: A brand new Google Nexus 7 Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean) tablet - 16 gb. Purchased new 01/19/2013. Comes with store receipt (Office Depot) so that you get the full warranty.

We have a pair of iPad 4's and a Nexus 7. The Nexus 7 is the perfect size and is easily my favorite of our tablets. If you've ever used Android, you will LOVE Jelly Bean v4.2.1 ...

And since this is a 'Pure Google' device, you get the latest version of Android as soon as it's released.

how would you compare this to a kindle fire? I haven't been liking any android s lately. I'd this one like plastic? Or is it tough like the iPad? does it have any problems?

My summary: it depends on what you want to do... not having access to any of the native Google apps or Google Play (Android Market) is a deal breaker for me and one of the reasons that we got rid of our 1st Gen Kindle Fire.

For an 8 year old kid who just wants to play angry birds and watch videos, the KF is a fine device. It is more limited and limiting which for an 8 year old kid isn't a bad thing.

For me personally, I want a tablet, not a front-end to Amazon.com...

i won a awesome sony camcorder from this Seller and it was worth a lot more than what i won it for. I can't believe the rude comments up above from others. I think the set price is perfect and if someone doesn't want to pay what your asking let them go elsewhere. I am saving my credits to bid or use Gin. That other Nexus 7 auction is a fake. That is not a Nexus 7 in his picture. First off, it had an Android Market icon. By the time that the N7 came out, the name had changed to Play Store. Second, the N7 doesn't run flash. That tablet has flash on it. Third, the N7 has a silver strip around the edge... and his doesn't have the camera.

It is a fake.

So, I just wanted to say, I love my Nexus7 so much that after buying mine I went back to buy my hubby one the next day. And, that I am fairly new to Listia and all ready tired of the shipping complaining. If you want the item, pay it. If you d not want to pay shipping-don't! Simple. Someone will be getting an incredible tablet. I personally feel that the 7" size is easier to use than an iPad size device... I seldom use our iPad 4's compared to my N7... iPad is just too heavy for one-handed use...
