In my honest opinion, they go together. When you look at them in different lights, sometimes the bottom looks darker and the top looks lighter. I don't know what else to say.

My grandmother has one of these and the bottom is suppose to be a little different hers looks just like this one......U have my bid i collect chickens for my kitchen and i have been trying for several years to talk my grandmother out of hers LOL

Oh, ok. I understand it looking like different colors. I was more worried about it looking like the top was not seated well in the bottom and that maybe the bottom was too big.
