Description

The listing, 512MB DDR Memory Sticks has ended.

I have up for auction a pair of 512MB DDR memory sticks. Model number "1RX8.PC2-5300U-555-12-D1-667". The memory has been tested and is in good working order. I will not charge for shipping, hence I have made the opening bid slightly higher than I normally would! Memory will be shipped in the original plastic packaging and then sealed for easy shipping.

PLEASE NOTE: Bidder assumes responsibility for making sure that the memory I have up for auction IS COMPATIBLE with the system you intend to use them with! Good Luck and happy bidding!!!!

Your model of Dell takes PC2100/2700 DDR SDRAM DIMMs Memory Type

I don't knock anyone who uses Dell but they are "Proprietary" which means A proprietary computer is a computer that has parts in it that are meant only to be available from one retailer or manufacturer. So if for example a fan malfunctions in a Dell system, you can't just go to the nearest Best Buy and buy a replacement, you have to search for a "Dell" fan etc. With this in mind, I do not know how cross compatible the memory is.

I actually took these Dimms out of a new system because I purchased bigger ones and they were a totally different model of memory but was "cross compatible" I did look at really good photographs of mine compared with memory sticks that come in your Dell model and the notches in the chips matched up perfectly. On a whim, I would yes, but I am not totally positive.

You can use your dell utilities either on the system itself or on a cd that came with it and it will scan your computer and tell you what is compatible with it. I will not mislead anyone and say "yes they are for sure" and then find out they in fact are not, just to get you to bid that's not right! So I would can say maybe dear, but I can't guarantee that they are!

Hope this helps...Thanks :-)

You are very welcome, thank you for your kind words. As I said they MAY work, I am just not 100% positive. Regardless, they are in demand all over the place and are a good thing to have towards trades...that I can guarantee 100% for sure. Thanks for the Fan...will fan back...Have a great day!!!

Phil...ty so much for the heads up, I have so much memory lying around, I tend to get them mixed up. I actually realized the "DDR2" the other day but forgot to post it. I appreciate you looking out my friend, I really appreciate it.
