This auction is for a commemorative (lightweight plastic) coin featuring the Space Shuttle "Discovery" STS-128, which included the crew of Sturckow, Ford, Forrester, Hernandez, Olivas, Fuglesang, and Stott.

STS-128 was a NASA Space Shuttle mission to the International Space Station (ISS) that launched on August 28, 2009.

It was the 159th NASA manned space flight.

This souvenir coin is just shy of 1-1/2 inches in diameter and is in very nice condition. It has never been encased in a protective cover, just kept seperately in a felt-lined drawer with other like coins (not metal).
It was one of many given to me by a friend who was the founder of a space museum when I lived in Titusville, FL.
