Description
The listing, Spectacular purple turquoise in Sterling silver necklace has ended.
Hand made. Won't find another like it! Set in Sterling silver. Has 5 crystals that give it a little bling. Hangs approx 18 inches at the longest. Length is adjustable. cleaning out jewelry box and things I haven't worn in a while are on the auction block!
sorry to ask,but can you extend your auction a couple of days so I can get enough credits to bid? I luv this and would like to try and get it for my mom. Thank you :)
hold the stones under water for a few minutes then hold them to your ear,if they are real you will here them crackle,if not they are fake, let me know the results
much against my better judgement i did it. i heard more of a hissing lol. but not a distinct crackle. i can say, that after a few minutes of holding the necklace in my hand it did not absorb my body heat. all i know is that when i purchased it in new mexico a few years back i was told that it was purple turquoise. i dont know if its dyed or reconstituted
Without some knowledge of stones, hard to tell..there is no real purple turquoise, it is either dyed or small pieces of turquoise are ground to powder added to resin ,dyed, then molded..hence re-constuted turquoise..if you had necklace wrapped then took it out hours later if real it will still be cold to the touch. None the less Very Beautiful Necklace. :)
Very nice, I'm new here & don't have that many credits yet! :( Fanned you though, and watching your necklace auction. Happy New Year from a fellow Pittsburgher! ;)
