If you pull out the battery, there would be a little white card type thing with some metal on it if it was sim card capable.

well the phone power on, and take pics and play songs no problem? I need a phone for my son to just atke pics on and play music. He loves my razr v3m but I dont want him tearing it up. Will the phone not do the things he wants it for due to being locked or does that only affect it when u try to place a call?

My daughter said you can put songs on the phone but it is not an mp3 player like the newer phones...better to get one with an mp3 player probably...hope this helps
