Up for auction are 2 Pokemon trading cards. They are BRAND NEW from a pack of black and white dark explorers.

NOTE - There have been several questions as to weather these cards are real or fake. I personally do not know i do not play this game and i really cant take the time to google it! I bought them in a pack from a store but people are saying they are fake! Either way they could be used to play the game!

These cards were JUST OPENED to post on here they are BRAND NEW.

How can they be fake if you bought them in an unopened pack from the store? Surely the company that distributes the cards wouldn't put fake cards in them.. unless the pack was one of those Prank Pokemon Cards I've seen around on here...

Good cards though. I would bid if I didn't already have them in my collections :3

they are definitely fake. the producers of the cards are letting a lot of fake cards slip through the conveyor belts where they are produced, and i don't think they care because kids these days can't tell the difference and they are cheaper to make. only the experienced players and collectors can tell the real ones from the fakes. the two you have listed are definitely fakes.

not a problem. fake or not though, i'll still bid and try to win them. even the fakes can still be used in friendly games :) fake cards may not be suitable for my base collection, but getting to play with them is always fun ^^

fake cards are just as precious as real ones they play the same the only diff is tht you can see thru them in the sunlight.

chelsea713 are you talking about misprints? I wouldn't think fakes are very valuable. These are better then the ones I bought in El Paso,though. which were a dollar a pack. They have like thousand of HP. lol

No she is talking about "Fake" cards.. they are just see threw but everything else is the same still playable!

You can tell a fake card from a real. Look at the back of those cards and look at the back of another card. If the colors of the fake card looked the same. Fake cards have a off coloring to the back of the card. Plus when you look at the front of the cards, the yellow border along the sides wouldn't be lined up. Those cards are real

Ok thanks. But my point is they are still PLAYABLE. All the characters and abilities and everything is the same. And some people collect the unique. Fake cards are unique to me.

FYI dark cards are rare so I wouldn't be surprised. Only kids like my teenage son who has a huge Pokemon collection would know the difference:)

Thanks for the info. Like I said I don't play. MTG is my thing. But my husband had many and I was selling those and I bought these thinking they were real but what evs these are actually hitting better bids then the REAL Pokemon I had listed!
