Hi can you give an idea on how much the claws can grip? I have a flat screen monitor but there is nothing to grab on behind screen area its smooth heading to back of monitor, are these more for laptops? Can they fit on type of monitor I have mag innovision(about 4 yrs old) think 17 inch screen and is about 11/4 inch thick if i was to place on side. thank you for any help, cool auction gl all

The clip will grip a laptop thickness , of about 1 inch with no problems. I also use the clip like a base, that can be placed on a flat surface. If you want to mount on a wall, etc. You can purchase HandiTak reusable adhesive to keep it in place. Hope this helps.
