wow thats a new one on me the only controllers i have seen are the two button ones and the larger ones that have a joystick instead of arrow keys

the red buttons are A & B turbo. not exactly sure what game that would benefit.

last time I used it yes. I haven't used an NES in a few years and have no idea where mine is at the moment. (just moved)

The turbo buttons are primarily used for shooting games. Instead of having to press the button over and over to fire the gun you could just hold the turbo button, which is really helpful when fighting bosses on some of those games.
