Sorry about not answering these questions sooner. I listed this for my wife who is in CO. visiting her aunt.
Couldn't afford to do a GIN because we really wanted to get at least 25k points.
Yes it DOES have wi-fi.
Got it last Christmas, I am a pastor and planned to use it for preaching on sunday mornings and let my wife use it for recreational reading.
It works great, I have taken it with me to Drs. offices and other places where we have a long wait. The battery life is good.
The screen was too small to use at church so we are going to get a 10".
Hope this helps. I will keep a closer eye from now on.
