its usb cable just like ps3 systems i took new pictures of the usb cable & the back of the controller & theres a circled sticker on the back which i can't take a good picture of it its very blurry but it says( x-boy 2007 ) & there is numbers 1 - 12 see pictures

it has to be for the ps2, due to the fact ps3 controllers have a center button that has the ps symbol on it. it's a menu button. the rectangular button that lights up if the power is on is from the ps1 and ps2 controllers

the ps3 center button is circular, not rectangular. but If I remember correctly, they made the ps3 compatible with ps2 controllers

as you see pictures the end cable is just like you insert into ps3 & i tried it into my ps3 it fits perfectaly & i tested it in my pc & it fits as same as ps3 so i don't really know so much about controllers

Yeah, the usb connector is usable on ps2, ps3, pcs, ect.
