Questions & Comments
Oh these are gorgeous! Did you make them? Can I make a suggestion? Try taking the photo from further away so they are in better focus, then crop them in with some simple photo editing software. The software also will let you play with the brightness and contrast to show the details much better.
Thanks, I will have to try that. Can I do it with the regular windows paint program? Because that is all I have.
I wish I could make these, but alas I purchased them at my local craft store. I got about 4 or 5 packs of them, and seperated them by the color and put them on here.
Also, do they string the long way like coin beads? Might help to show a photo of the sides of them too. Hope you don't mind my suggestions ... we need some new bead blood here on Listia and these beads are really different!
The easiest way to crop an image using MS Paint is to load the picture, use the dotted rectangle tool on the left side to pick which part of the image you want (what left outside of the box won't be in the new image). Copy the selected part (either Edit>Copy, or Ctl+C) open up a new paint document (File>New), then paste it (Edit>Paste, or Ctl+V). This should now have just the part you wanted. It's pretty limited, but it sounds like this is all you're looking for. If you need any help with the instructions I've given, you're welcome to ask. Good luck!
