when not if I win this item im going to train my parrot with this clicker, when your bird does what you tell it to do, like for instance, "STEP UP" on your finger you click it and give the bird a food treat for a good job, eventually the bird will know what you say is what he is to do and once he learns that, then you move onto the next trick, same with dogs and cats they will hear the clicker when they do something right and know they did good and next time listen for the command knowing when they hear the clicker they get a reward. With dogs and cats they dont really want food treats as much as they want a kiss or hugs FROM YOU, so physically with dogs and cats it will work alot better then food treats. This is how it works if you use it this way.
