are these made to go with the play sets for mega bloks? I am planning on buying some of those sets for my daughter's 6th birthday in just two days and she wants more hello kitty figurines to go with them.

I have not opened any of these, but from what I can tell from advertising, you get one block - a 2x4 - Lego size, not Duplo size. So my guess is yes, they match the smaller size Mega bloks. The Hello Kitty figure feels like it will be about an inch tall...
