The listing, Turquoise-Dye Howlite Rose Bead ~ NW ONLY ONE has ended.

This is a big bold bead. Measuring 1.5" in diameter, it does make a statement. When I originally purchased this piece, I was told it was true turquoise. After exaination I am 95% sure it is dyed Howlite. If not, it is Chinese turquoise which is not the same quality of the Southwestern US turquoise.

Regardless, it is a gorgeous stone. The color really pops and the high gloss finish justs adds to the beauty factor by 1000.

I'd say it is no more than 3oz. max. It is solid. Looks great as a desktop accent or sitting on top of a stack of books.

On the back, see photo, the raised triangle at the top that looks like a dog ear. This is curve out of the stone and the hole runs thru it.
