Paper Ephemera Bank Checking Account Original Checks (5) The National Eagle Bank Broadway New York
From "The National Eagle Bank" of 1000 Broadway, New York NY, this is a blank check and stub (you get 5) apparently from this bank in the earlier 1900's. The background of the check is a patterned blue and aged creamy white while the stub(blank too) is aged white paper. Print is in brown. Terrific ephemera for collectors, junk journals, joke check writing, scrapbooks and just history. if you can locate information ( I cannot) about this bank, great! The picture shows a picture of the "then" bank being 3 stories! These checks were printed in Japan. The check and the stub are perforated (shown). The backs appear to have water stains.
