softcover, and inside pages are quality papers. 98% of the designs are in color. And they are marked with each color name, should you want to create designs exactly as shown. 15 basic stitches are all that you need, and each is clearly illustrated along with essential embroidering techniques.
When my children were young, we had an outlet for two expensive brands of children’s clothing nearby. The outlet carried items that had a flaw (usually a tiny hole or small mark), for a really super affordable price.
I purchased a lot there, and I was good at embroidery, so I embroidered a design over the mark or hole. Sometimes an initial, or heart, or something I made up. If you live near an outlet, or place that sells seconds, you can save a LOT of money by doing a simple repair! And great for personalizing clothing!
I wish I had had this book then! So many adorable designs! And they can be embroidered on many different things, not just clothing. I’ve taken photos of some of the designs in this book, but there really are 500!
Book is unused. Minor storage wear. I purchased it at a charity sale, and it had come from a craft shop.
