The listing, Windows XP...PROFESSIONAL has ended.
Windows XP Professional-install disk. Slightly scratched but not major. It can (and should) be polished at any used game store for 2 bucks. It works and is going to go fast!! Not the original case for it and I have no serial number to give. ---It was given to me by a friend and it still works without the number. I know firsthand . HAPPY BIDDING !!
Questions & Comments
Not all laptop's use a 64 bit encryption Operating System. Windows XP Pro can be used on any computer laptop or tower as long as toy have a registration keycode to activate it. Since this person is not selling the keycode with it It become your responsability to make sure your computer can handle it. "IF" you had w XP Pro before and upgraded to vista you can use your orginal key code to reinstall windows xp pro, if you only had windows xp then you would have to buy a new keycode to get it to work. I build computers in my spare time High end gaming.
Very well said. Exactly. And as for me, I used it twice, emergencies DO happen with PCs, or its just with mine..IDK,..but anyways ....one I had it factory installed when purchased, did had key code, it didnt work tho, I was going to upgrade to vista real soon...so I was pleased to see it DID work for 30 days -as they allow you to install it and ask you again in 30 days to register the code, if not registered then well, the jig is over..But listen, the 30 day period I had my computer working was a perfect amount of time to decide and better than no PC! ...more recently, On my newer pc bought with vista I used the code I got with one of the upgrades, and still it wasnt a permanent thing, eventually I got a vista disk, as so on. BUT SOMETIMES YOU JUST NEED IT TO BOOT AND WORK< THESEDAYS #) DAYS GRACE IS A MAJOR DEAL. ..compared to 30 days of having NO COMPUTER. ...Like I said,,XP is good for when u are in a pinch...And I dont know what powerful PC presemtly wouldnt be able to handle an old OS as XP is...its actually not real risky at all---but yes -DO be responsible...ENOUGH TO HAVE THIS DISK HANDY TO AVOID A PROLONGED ABSENCE OF YOUR COMPUTER WORKING, I say..
can i get a installation from your flash drive auctioner? (i just need a install as my monster computer hard drive crashed and lost windows... D: so i need a reinstall of windows xp pro so can you email me a install??
Yes it is, exactly. It is to put a particular OS or 'operating system' onto your computer...XP is a system- I personally- liked the best ....using something called FAT32 and the programming changed when Vista came out. I have another disk on flash so I do not need this one anymore...Handy to have in a pinch, thats for sure! It may need to be polished like I said above, A very minor thing, These disks are EXPENSIVE>
No high bidders yet, and I started it off pretty high myself, but was going to start even higher, lol...I decided to do that tho,and have it auctioning a shorter time, because why prolong an item like this? Just for higher credits? Well maybe on some items, but this one is cut and dry -a quick sale would be more realistic. The bids will come towards the last day or so, Im sure..
You will have to at some point either buy some form of windows OS , whether its, XP, vista, windows 7 or even 8 now.., but you have 2 choices which both are high dollar .1} -Buy off the windows site or reputable store one of those mentioned here, on disk...prob around 199,00 2} -Take it in to be diagnosed and then a tech installs windows back into it, just like you would do, with a disk, this service for me in Wa St was 60+ bucks an hour, takes 2-3 hrs. Well over time i had to take it back in to them to have it installed again...and again, # TIMES! I didnt know, THATS HOW I DO NOW THO,. So either way you are going to have to fork out some big bucks to get it up and running- BUT<<You could- in the meantime, for almost nothing get this disk here, get internet back running again, and take the 30 days given to search on line(which u cant do now right?) and decide what you want to do, Id never suggest to someone not to have their own disk just because there is no serial num. No, you CAN buy one, and a little secret for you all, its not illegal to use it as it is offered here (even reinstalling it again from scratch when 30 days are up is not illegal..its just sneaky....lol because you can do that, BTW-I did it 4 times in a row) WHAT IS ILLEGAL IS BOOTLEGGED UNSAFE FORGED COPIES AND I NEVER WOULD TOUCH ONE> This is legitimate software here, safe and valuable......I hope that helped!
for alil less then 100.00 I can get you a windows 7 disk brand new with Key code straight from www.newegg.com Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium SP1 32-bit - OEM $99.99 OR the new Microsoft Windows 8 64-bit (Full Version) - OEM also at 99.99 I build computers for people I research it from Motherboard to Operating system. and everything in between. **Upgrade from Windows XP, Vista and 7 Microsoft Windows 8 Professional Upgrade 69.99 NEW ** http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16832416562
I used to volunteer at a Computer Recycling place, On the older computers the keycodes were stuck to the sides of the computers. And we would snag as many of those keycodes as possible. to give to friends or to sell as we needed. It didn't matter all those machines were being recycled and those codes get destroyed even if there still legit, Just a thought if you know a place that recycles old computers. And they get alot of old software like XP, Xp pro and so on. lol I have back up disc's for every O S (Operating System) I use.
Well not to sound like a beeaach or anything, (cuz Im not) but IF you have so many OS disks why dont you please take the TIME to auction them off yourself, NOT ON MY AUCTION....not on my time.--- I mean it. Id bet you dont or else theyd be on here, but even so...Id never let such a lazy tech work on ANY of my 3 computers! Jusss sayin'...Listing an auction is FREE. --->DO IT>.
Got to YouTube and type in windows xp product key and look in the description and find a product key,you may have to keep trying them until they work but you'll find one, that's what I do and if you go to sort video or whatever at the top go to recently added and that will be newer videos
Also may be in a file related to unattended set up. I know it used to be on widows 2000. Worth a look at the cd anyway. I have a few OS disks also, but in the market for more :) XP is much better the most windows OS offered! IMHO! Best of luck on listia!
