The listing, G I JOE FILE CARDS vintage gi joe kung fu grip package has ended.

This is for 2 vintage G I JOE file cards cut out of the kung-fu action grip packages. These look to be in good condition, with no creases.

These will be shipped with reinforced cardboard in a white envelope.

I think the kung-fu grip versions came out in the 90's. I'll see if I can identify these, and I'll get back to you on that.

i think these are from the original figures in 1983 and 1984. they are the french and english version of course, but i'm pretty sure these are from the original figures of storm shadow and spirit. the 25th anniversary figure filecards looked slightly different.

On the backs of the cards they both have the little flashy ad that says "rotating swivel arm battle grip" That's what made me thing they were later on... Sorry, haven't had the time to do the research. Yojoe.com should have the answer, just didnt have time lately to look through years of joes.

if they say swivel arm battle grip then that definitely means they are from 1984. they stopped putting that on the packages by 1987 or so. this is a really cool auction.

ahhh, for some reason I thought the swivel arms came out later in the 90's. Thanks, that should narrow down my search.
