The listing, Indian Corn - DIY Halloween Decorations has ended.
No tricks here, just treats...grow your own Halloween decorations for next year and use both the dried ears AND the stalks!
The winner of this auction will receive 50 Heirloom Indian Corn seeds.
The second picture of corn (the pale-colored one) shows what my first ear of corn looked like that I grew from this same seed this year (2012), while it was ready to eat in the 'milk stage'. I don't know what color this would have had when dry, because I ate it...:D...but the rest of the harvest is drying now and it looks like it's all going to be really nicely colored, with many that are much darker than this.
Please NOTE: If you decide to use the ears of corn from your eventual harvest as decorations, please keep them dry and out of direct sunlight to increase your chances of getting the corn to germinate the following year.
