A young pains woman raising her 2 daughters in the wilderness of New Mexico has her daughter Lily snatched by a dark-hooded phantom with shape-shifting powers. Her long-estranged father suddenly appears offering help. Father and daughter set out to track down the fiend that took Lily unaware of the frightening events that lurk in the distance.
It is 137 minutes long in full screen. Rated R due to the violence. There are 2 DVD's. 1 is the movie. The other has special effects, alternate endings and deleted scenes. Those actually made parts of the movie make sense. I really enjoyed Cate Blanchett as the mother and Tommy Lee Jones as her father. The 2nd DVD was really interesting. Be sure to watch it all.
