Are these the miniature spools, or are they the small size (like Coats & Clark, etc) spools? Polyester, Dual Duty, Cotton???

My guess is that they are polyester. There are no markings on them. They are about 1" high. Sorry, don't have better information.

Well, I took sewing classes from 9th through mid 12th grade. Took tayloring my last sementer of high school. And that's pretty much where I stopped, many, many years ago. I used to love to sew, but over the years, even that fell by the wayside. All I can say is, if you really enjoy it, do it.

Darn I was hoping for some tips. But thanks anyway. Thats what happened to me I learned like the baby steps from mom then I took the home ec class and made a pillow. Its still in seam lol and I even tried to make a jacket for my dog from scraps. But there wasnt much support so I sorta stopped.
