It is the third installment in the Friday the 13th franchise. Set directly after the events of Friday the 13th Part 2, the plot follows a teenage girl (Kimmell) and her friends who go on a trip at a house near Crystal Lake where a wounded Jason Voorhees (Brooker) has taken refuge until reemerging for another killing spree.
