Description

The listing, 48 New 8mm Genuine Lapis Lazuli Beads {if ginned I'll add 10 coin shaped lapis 16X16X7mm} has ended.

This auction is for 48 new genuine lapis lazuli beads. They are 8mm round and come on a 15" strand.
From what all I have read about lapis the best quality one are the solid blue with no pyrite showing through. That what you will get here. Personally, I like to see the pyrite, but that's just what I like. If you'd rather have the better quality ones, these are for you. They are beautiful!

IF GINNED: I'll add 10 of the coin shaped 16X16mm new genuine lapis beads.

Lapis is a stone that mainly consist of diopside and lazurite. The blue comes from the sulphur content of the lazurite. The inclutions that shimmer like tiny stars are pyrite. Their cause is iron.
The very earliest cultures valued lapi more than they did gold. The Egyptian cultures made a practice of burying their dead with a lapis scarab and believed it to offer protection. This stone is sometimes ground into powder to make oil piants. This is what was used to paint the early Madonna paintings because the bright blue paint lasted longer than other paints. Till this day, the paintings are still as bright as the day they were painted. Lapis is used when parts of the body need to be purified and cleansed. It is reguarded by many people atround the world as the stone of friendship and truth. It is said to encourage harmony in relationships.

Please check out my other auctions. I have a lot of nice ones and try to add new auctions daily. If you win one and are bidding on others please let me know. I do have a small inside dog and smoke, so if that bothers you please don't bid. Thank-you for looking and good luck on your bids!

I just added an incentive to it. If ginned I'll add 10 coin shaped lapis to it. Since $1=1000 credits on here, you'd be paying $4.00 for all these beads. That is well worth it since you can't even buy the strand of round ones for $4.00. Good luck!

Since this hasn't been ginned I added an incentive. I'm adding 10 of the coin shaped lapis beads if ginned. Now this gin is well worth it since on this site $1=1000 credits. You'd be getting all these for $4.00.

How does everybody seem to be getting credits at a different rate than I do? Can you tell me how to get that deal? I would do a GIN on these for that! Thanks!!!!

Look at the gift card auctions. That's how they figure it, $5=5000 credits. Even on the rewards store that's what lista does. Seems awful high to me, but that is what this site has been doing. A few months ago stamps and gift cards were half the price they are now. Then everyone stated figuring it this way. Inflation struck! I have to bid on stamps to be able to offer free shipping on all my auctions. I have figured it up lately and it takes me at least 3000 credits to send 1 small package because it cost $3.50 to send it with delivery conformation. It's rediculous! I have to get over 3000 credits on an auction to get anything for myself. This use to be a site where we all were here to help eacvh other, then inflation set in. If people raise their stamp prices anymore, either I can't afford to be on this site, or I have to start charging shipping. I tried to keep my prices down and refused to go up like everyone else, but then I figured out what it's costing me for shipping.

Forget listia it should be like she said
for example listia credits
$1 = 1,000 pts
$5 = 5,000 pts
$10 = 10,000 pts
$20 = 20,000 pts
$50 = 50,000 pts
$100 = 100,000 pts

That's the way it works now days. I thinks it's a little ridiculous, but that's the way it is. People with gift cards and stamps figure it that way, but yet they don't want to pay that much for other things. It's not right that everything isn't figured that way. We need to keep the dollar amount equal on everything to make it fair.

I'm confused. Still can't find Listia gift cards. :(

If your looking for the ones listia has, go to the top of the page and click 'Rewards Store'. If your looking for the ones people list, just type in 'gift card', or go to 'other stuff'' in the 'Browse' at the top, and then click on 'gift cards'.

Thank you! But I only find Amazon gift cards in the rewards store. Do those work for Listia?

That's all that's in the store. Go the other place I told you for the cards people listed.

im wondering why everyone says $1=1000 credits cause when i looked at buy credits it cost $10. to buy only 3300 credits i'm still kinda new so i dont get it lol

That's only when you buy credits. Have you looked at the Rewards Store? Listia charges 20000 for a $20 gift card, 40000 for a $40 card, and so on. Then if you look at the gift cards and stamps people have listed they charge the same and even more.

Good luck on them! Even if you raise your price there's no guarantee they'll pay what you ask. I just start my bids at the lowest I will take. I figure if they don't go that's fine with me. I'm not putting them on here because I don't want the stuff. If the auctions don't go I am trying to get enough jewelry made up to open a store on the internet. I'll just use the stuff to make jewelry to sell.

so since you removed the GIN I take it the 10 extra aren't available anymore either?
Sep 8th, 2012 at 6:43:57 AM PDT by

I didn't remove the gin. Once bids get to half of what the gin was, the system automaticly removes it. So now I'll say, IF BIDS GET TO 3500, I'LL ADD THE OTHER BEADS.
