Questions & Comments
You can't afford an extra $1 or 2? It's not expensive to ship to Canada, overseas ya it's more expensive but shipping between Canada and the US are almost the same, change in difference.
I'm a teacher...and I GIVE away a LOT of items every week..for FREE. I don't think that I should have to PAY shipping to give something away. I feel that, the bidder should at least be willing to pay postage. If it's not that expensive for me to ship it..it's not that expensive for you to pay the postage. Sorry..that's just how I roll
We all have our own opinions of "how listia should work" I though feel differently about it considering yes you giving away the item but in return your getting many credits for it in. Why should the buyer lose all the credit plus to pay to have it shipped to them aswell? If that was the case we'd all just purchase the items ourselves considering with some of the larger items it cost less to purchase them brand new outta the store vs what shipping fees we're looking at. If we all paid to have our items shipped out to us we'd never get anywhere really. Everyone knows that free shipping means tons of more credits so if your like where I'm that is about the credit vs the little bit of cash to ship it, it would make more sence to free ship. I'm about winning as many auctions I like as possible vs worring about shipping fees. I only asked cause you said you'd do free shipping if the GIN was used and I was willing to do the GIN if you'd consider the fee cents extra to ship it.
I see your point, but it's not possible for me to pay postage on all my items. I don't make much as a school teacher, and it would benefit me more to just have a garage sale. I find really cool stuff, that isn't readily available just anywhere. I often don't even get the value of what I pay for the items..you know..it's ALL a gamble. BUT, if I have to pay to ship it, I'll just give it up. I realize I'm losing bidders because of the "freebies hunters", but, that's just something I'll have to work with.
